Karachi: Gulgee murder case hearing adjourned till Oct 25
KARACHI: Additional District and Sessions Judge East Aftab Ahmed adjourned the hearing of the triple murder case of legendary artist Gulgee, his wife, Zareen Gulgee, and their maid, Aasia, till October 25. The adjournment came as the district prosecutor and prosecution witnesses were absent on Saturday, although both the accused, driver Akram Ali and Anwar, were present. According to the prosecution, the accused, angered by ill treatment from the victims, planned the murders.
The bodies of the victims were recovered on December 19, 2007, three days after the murder, when the son of the deceased Gulgee came looking for his parents. The accused were arrested on February 2 from a hotel in the vicinity of the Cantonment Railway Station.
