81 held in Kohat crackdown
KOHAT: District Police Tuesday claimed to have arrested 81 alleged criminals, including nine wanted outlaws, four drug traffickers and six flour smugglers, and recovered arms, drugs and flour from them. Sources said Kohat police on the directives of district police officer Abdullah Khan launched a crackdown against the criminals and outlaws and raided their various hideouts in the area. During the raid police rounded up 81 suspects including nine wanted outlaws, four drug traffickers and six flour smugglers.
Those arrested include Waheed and Nadeem Shah, residents of Junglekhel, Karnal Khan and Khushrang of Shadi Pur, Khalid of Samari Bala, Akhtar Bibi of Kachai, Rehman of Muhammad Zai, Saifoor of Lachi and Qasid of Ali Zai whereas the drug traffickers included Muhammad Ashiq, Mubashar Ali, Eed Muhammad and a female identified as Rabia. The flour smugglers were Rang Badshah, Hazrat Ali, Abdul Waheed, Shafiullah, Imtiaz Hussain and Nabat Khan. Police also recovered five Kalashnikovs, eight rifles, 12 shot guns, 21 pistols, 300 bullets, 15 kg of hashish and six bottles of wine.
