Rawalpindi: Police given 7-day extension in remand of Marriott blast accused
RAWALPINDI: Anti–Terrorism Special Court on Sunday granted a seven–day extension of physical remand of four accused for their alleged involvement in Marriott Hotel suicide blast. The court adjourned the hearing till October 31. The Anti–Terrorist Court (ATC), Rawalpindi, gave the four accused Dr. Usman, Rana Ilyas, Hamid Afzal and Tahseen Ullah in police custody on a 7-day remand and adjourned the hearing for one week. Earlier, the four accused were produced before the special judicial magistrate amid tight security.
