Rawalpindi: Accused indicted in Benazir’s assassination case
RAWALPINDI: An anti terrorist court here on Saturday indicted the accused in Benazir Bhutto murder case and adjourned the hearing till November 10. Judge ATC No 1 Chaudhry Habib-ur-Rehman held the proceedings inside the Adiala jail in Rawalpindi. A joint investigation team had arrested five accused namely Aitraz Shah, Sher Zaman, Rafaqat, Hasnain Gul and Mufti Abdur Rashid, following the assassination of the former prime minister on December 27 last year. Taliban commander Baitullah Mehsud was declared absconding proclaimed offender in the same case by the anti terrorist court.
