Lahore: 2 candidates caught cheating
LAHORE: As many as two candidates were caught red handed while using unfair means during the ongoing supplementary examination of Intermediate, Part-I (2008), on Monday. According to a press release issued by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Lahore, Muhammad Riaz (roll no 25570) was caught while cheating at the exam centre at the Govt Degree College, Shahdra, while another candidate Muhammad Ajmal Akhtar (roll no 26381) was caught at the exam centre at the Govt Higher Secondary School, Shahdra.
Meanwhile, the Chairman Squad, along with heavy contingent of police, paid a surprise visit to the abovementioned exam centres at Shahdra where some miscreants had recently tried to disrupt peaceful conduct of exams, the statement said. Ashfbaq Jutt, a representative of a student union, was trying to disrupt the exam on Monday too, however, when police and the Chairman Squad tried to arrest him after he was identified by the superintendent, he succeeded in fleeing from the scene, the statement added. A case has been registered against him at the Shahdra Police Station.
