Rawalpindi: Wife of ‘unhappy’ man found strangled
RAWALPINDI: Saddar Barroni police on Monday found a decomposing body of a woman in her house. Three people including her husband were accused of killing her two days ago. Police officials told Daily Times that Baseerat Bano’s father Inayatullah had lodged a case that his son in law Muhammad Ilyas, nephew and another person named Shah Gi had killed her daughter. Inayatullah reported to the police that Bano, mother of three, married Ilyas some ten years ago. He stated that Ilyas was not happy with Bano and ultimately killed her with the help of two accomplices before hiding the dead body under a bed in the house, which was now stinking with smell of the decomposing corpse.
On his information, the police recovered the body which has been given to the victim family after post–mortem. The police officials said preliminary investigation had revealed that Bano was strangled.
Meanwhile, two cars were stolen in separate cases. The police said Ashfaq Ali`s car was lifted from Liaqat Road. Muhammad Asim`s car was stolen from Jawra Road in the limits of RA Bazaar Police Station.
