Lahore: GCU students sent on judicial custody
LAHORE: An anti terrorism court on Wednesday sent two students of Government College University (GCU) on judicial remand. The two students namely Usman Latif and Haroon were arrested by New Anarkali police from their houses under section 16 MPO. As many as hundreds of GCU students protested against the notorious struck off system. This month the GCU management had struck off the roles of two hundred students for shortage of attendance. The students protested against the criteria system for attendance shortage and blocked the road in front of the main gate of the university and raised slogans against the VC.
