Rawalpindi: 3 accused in threatening to blow out FIA building indicted
RAWALPINDI: 3 accused arrested on the charges for threatening to blow out Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) building located in Islamabad with explosive material have been indicted while the accused persons have pleaded not guilty. Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) has set November, 24 for next hearing besides summoning prosecution witnesses to record their statements. The three accused including Khurram Ishtiaq, Ghulam Mustafa and Shamim Alam were presented before judge Sakhi Mohammad Kohot of ATC Rawalpindi division. The court charge sheeted them after a brief hearing.
During the course of hearing of the case against Niaz Ahmad and Mazhar ul Haq arrested under the charges for targeting former president Pervez Musharraf plane the court directed Muhammad Nawaz investigation officer of police station Banni to complete the challans and present it before the court on next hearing.
Investigation Officer Muhammad Nawaz told the court challan was in the process of necessary legal proceedings, therefore, incomplete challans could not be presented.
Court adjourned the hearing till November, 17.
