Rawalpindi: ATC charges accused with terror plot
RAWALPINDI: The judge of Anti–Terrorism Court–II, Sakhi Muhammad Kahut, here on Saturday issued a charge-sheet to three accused on the allegation of hatching a conspiracy to blow up important official buildings. On refusal to accept the reliability of accusation by the accused, the court summoned the petitioners to record their statements and adjourned the hearing till November 24. The three accused, including Khurram Ishtiaq, Ghulam Mustafa and Shamim Aalim, were allegedly involved in hatching a plan to blow up the official buildings of the DCO, CPO offices, Police Lines and district Kutchery. The FIA arrested the accused and recovered explosives material from their possession.
