Lahore: FIA arrests former Taliban minister
LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Wednesday arrested former civil aviation deputy minister of Afghanistan. The former minister, who served in the position under the Taliban government, was apprehended at the Allama Iqbal International Airport as he tried to leave for Dubai. According to sources, his name was included in the exit control list. He was carrying a Pakistani passport, which portrayed him as a resident of Mandi Bahauddin. FIA handed him over to the Anti–Human Trafficking Circle and a case has been registered against him under Section 14 of the Foreigners Act.
