Lahore: Man shot dead by clients
LAHORE: A man was shot dead by two brothers for not renting them a bike in the Baghbanpura Police precincts on Thursday. The victim was identified as Muhammad Shakeel, a resident of Ata Road. Baghbanpura Police Station Station House Officer (SHO) Sharjeel Zia Butt said that the victim was running a rent-a-bike business from his residence’s drawing room. He said that two brothers, Khuda Bakhsh alias Bakhsho and Mohsin alias Musa, went to the victim’s shop to rent a motorcycle. However, Shakeel did not rent a bike to them, resulting in the exchange of harsh words from both parties.
The two brothers left the shop and returned with two of their friends after a few minutes and allegedly opened fire on him. Shakeel got shot in his leg, which damaged the vein attached to his heart, causing him to die at hospital. The police transported the body to the city morgue for an autopsy and registered a case against the suspected killers.
