Rawalpindi: Feud claims 2 lives
RAWALPINDI: Two men have been shot dead over a minor dispute in Chauntra Police Station precincts. Abrar Hussain, a resident of Suroopa village and employee of Water and Power Development Authority, told the police that his brother Ghufran quarrelled with Shahzad a few days ago. He said that Shahzad and his fellows invited his brother and father on Thursday to a widow Syedan Bibi’s residence to settle the dispute. Hussain said that Noor Muhammad, a local, was also accompanying his father and brother at Bibi’s house when a brawl erupted there. As a result, he said, Muhammad Afzal, Mazhar Iqbal and five others exchanged harsh words with his father and brother. He accused Afzal of shooting his father and Ghufran with a 30-bore gun.
