Karachi: Abductee killed
KARACHI: Kidnappers after receiving ransom killed a abductee and threw his body in the Chakiwara police limits on Sunday. Police said that six armed men riding in a car kidnapped a local businessman Faisal Hussain, 30, son of Muhammad Hussain, on Friday night in the Kalri police area, while he was going towards Nazimabad on his motorcycle. In the morning next day, his family members saw his motorcycle parked near a bakery shop and the owner of the shop told them that six armed men kidnapped Faisal.
In the night, the family members of Faisal received a phone call from the mobile of Faisal and the kidnappers demanded Rs1,500,000, as ransom. However, the family of Faisal settled the ransom money at Rs100,000 and onne of his family members handed over the ransom money to the kidnappers near Paracha Chowk situated in the Shershah police jurisdiction.
However, the kidnappers killed Faisal and threw his body near the C-1 Bus Stop in Bihar Colony in the Chakiwar police jurisdiction.
Later, his body was shifted to the Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for legal formalities. The medico–legal officer at the Civil Hospital said that the deceased was strangled.
Police claimed that the deceased was a local businessman.
The police did not register a case of the incident.
Meanwhile, at least three people were killed in different mishaps.
Javed, 23, and Jaffer, 24, were knocked down to death by a speeding truck on the Super Highway near Al–Asif Square in the Sohrab Goth police limits while they were going on a motorcycle.
Rajab Ali, 50, was killed, when he accidentally fell in a well from the rooftop of a local factory in the Korangi Industrial Area.
