Rawalpindi: ATC cancels bail of 2 terror accused
RAWALPINDI: An anti–terrorist court here on Friday cancelled the bail of two men allegedly involved in terrorist activities and adjourned hearing in the case till December 16. The Sadiqabad Police had registered a case under Sections 3/4 of the Explosive Act of Pakistan and 7 ATA against Muhammad Zamir and Muhammad Qadeer for their involvement in terrorist activities after recovery of jackets of explosives from their possession in June.
Police arrested 11 accused, including Muhammad Zamir and Muhammad Qadeer, from Dhok Kala Khan. Meanwhile, two witnesses recorded their statements in the ATC against the accused allegedly involved in a suicide attack on former Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz. The court adjourned further hearing in the case till December 16.
The Fatehjang Police had registered a case against Maulvi Muhammad Usman and Muhammad Imtiaz in 2004 for their alleged involvement in a suicide attack on Shaukat Aziz.
