Islamabad: Criminal activities on the rise in suburbs
ISLAMABAD: Public and social circles of the capital population, living near Khanna Bridge, have expressed their concern over the rising incidents of criminal activities in their respective areas. The people while narrating their problems underlined that the ratio of criminal incidents increases after sunset, as the criminal elements carry out their activities under the cover of night due to loadshedding. Ahmed Shiraz Saeed, a resident of Garden Town, New Shakrial, said some mobile snatching incidents happened in the area recently that created concern among the area inhabitants.
Muhammad Umer while talking to this agency informed that he returns from his office late night and the increase in the ratio of criminal activities is a major source of concern for him.
The people of the area have appealed to the authorities concerned to take notice of the issue and mitigate their sufferings.
