Mardan police foil terrorism bid, seize explosives
PESHAWAR: Mardan police on Thursday foiled a terrorism bid and seized a huge cache of explosives and weapons. Mardan Police Deputy Inspector General Akhtar Ali Shah had prior information that a huge cache of explosives was being taken to a hideout in GojarGarhi village. Deputy Superintendent of Police Imtiaz Ali Khan and Mardan Cantt Station House Officer Abdur Rehman Khan cordoned off the area and seized 51 dynamites, 115 detonators and hundreds of cartridges. The offender, Alhaz, son of Sharif Khan was arrested. Alhaz is being interrogated.
