Karachi: 2 killed, 3 bandits arrested
KARACHI: Two people were killed in separate incidents on Saturday, while three bandits were arrested by the Pakistan Rangers. Forty–year–old Mohammed Saeed was reportedly bludgeoned to death by his friends over a dispute in House–384, Korangi No-6, in the Zaman Town police limits. The police lodged a case on the complaint of Saeed’s widow. According to the victim’s family, Saeed had invited some of his friends to his residence late Friday night. He had told his wife and two children to sleep in another room. His younger daughter found him dead when she went into the room to awaken him on Saturday morning. The police have initiated a case to investigate the incident.
Investigators said that Saeed was a drug addict. “He might have been killed by his friends over a dispute. He was killed with a blunt object,” they said.
Meanwhile, the tortured body of Jan Badhshah, 30, was found near the Lalazar Wedding Lawn, in Block–11, in the Gulistan-e-Jauhar police limits.
