Islamabad: 6 including 4 murder accused held
ISLAMABAD: The CIA Police arrested six persons involved in murder, dacoities and other cases recovering a vehicle and stolen property worth Rs1.2 million from them, the police sources said. Four persons had hired a vehicle (IDS–5872) for Mardan on November 24, 2008 and assassinated its driver Zulfiqar in the area of Chota Mardan. A report was registered with the Sabzi Mandi Police regarding the missing person. The CIA Police upon transfer of the case constituted a team that succeeded in getting details about missing person and arrested four accused persons who had assassinated driver Zulfiqar after snatching vehicle from him.
The alleged killers were identified as Jehanzeb Khan, resident of Nowshera, Faiz Ullah and Jabir Hussain, residents of Mardan, and Bakht Gul, resident of Shangla.
The police team comprising Sub-Inspector Shamas Akbar, Assistant Sub–Inspector Tariq Rauf and other police officials also recovered the dead body of the driver and his vehicle.
Meanwhile, CIA Police arrested Abdul Sadiq, an Afghan national, and Nasir who allegedly broke into the houses of Saqib Mushtaq and Abdul Rehman and looted gold ornaments, cash and other valuables worth Rs.1.2 million. The police have recovered the looted items from them.
