Rawalpindi: PM Secretariat vehicle stolen
RAWALPINDI: The vehicle of Prime Minister Secretariat was stolen from the secretariat while the concerned transport officer has implicated a driver by registering an FIR against him, police sources said. Transport Officer PM Secretariat Akhtar Mehmood has lodged a complaint with the Westridge Police in Rawalpindi while the offence was occurred in Islamabad, police said. He stated that Muhammad Mumtaz of Mukarram Town, Westridge took away the vehicle (NWFP-A-2132) from the PM Secretariat and didn’t hand over the vehicle back to the transport office. The Westridge Police registered the case against the driver under section 409 PPC without ascertaining the reason of registering case in Rawalpindi when the vehicle was taken away from Islamabad.
