Peshawar: Taliban commander remanded in custody
PESHAWAR: A special anti–terrorism court Monday handed over a local Taliban commander, Nisar, to police on a two-day physical remand. Nisar was apprehended by the security agencies from Mohmand Agency on Friday after a gunfight between militants and law–enforcers. SroKillay Police Station personnel produced him before the Anti–Terrorism Court, presided over by Syed Hayat Ali Shah. Nisar is facing charges of murder, attempted–murder and launching bomb attacks.
