Arms trafficker held in Karachi
KARACHI: The CID Police said it has arrested an arms trafficker and seized a large quantity of weapons from his possession. Addressing a press conference here, SSP CID Police Aslam Khan told that accused Jamshed Khan Bajori was arrested after an exchange of fire while his two other accomplices managed to flee. He said that police recovered eight Kalashnikovs, seven rifles, five repeaters, 11 pistols and thousand of bullets from his vehicle. According to CID officials, the accused is a part of an inter-provincial gang that is involved in arms trafficking. The gang supplies weapons to the banned outfits in Karachi, the officials said.
