2 drug smugglers detained at Karachi airport
KARACHI: Anti–narcotics Cell on Thursday arrested two persons, including a woman, on charges of heroin smuggling from the Karachi Airport. The accused were carrying heroin–filled capsules in their tummy and were attempting to leave for Malaysia. ANF Joint Regional Director Lt. Col. Syed Majid Shirazi told media that Muhammad Arif and Tamseela were arrested from the Karachi Airport on Jan 12. He said Arif, 24, hails from Charsadda while Tamsella belongs to Gujranwala. Both accused were leaving for Malaysia.
