11 arrested in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD: Eleven outlaws were arrested by the Islamabad Police during a crackdown against anti–social elements and recovered stolen property worth Rs1.5 million from them. According to the police, CIA Police arrested Khalid Mehmood, Mustaiq Hussain and Akhtar Abbas and recovered stolen property worth Rs1.5 million and one kilogram ‘charas’ from them. Aabpara Police arrested Arif Masih and Muhammad Irshad and recovered one pistol and six bottles of liquor from them.
Sabzi Mandi Police arrested Khalid Mehmood and Saqib and recovered two pistols from them while the Golra Police arrested Muhammad Riaz and recovered one pistol from him. Two other accused Khalid Mehmood and Sajid Mehmood were arrested recovering one pistol and 50 gram heroin from them. Separate cases have been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway.
