Rawalpindi: 4 constables booked for harassing family
RAWALPINDI: Kallar Syedan police have booked four constables for harassing women and torturing two citizens, police said on Sunday. Muhammad Ashfaq and Muhammad Rasheed lodged a complaint with police stating that they were coming home from a marriage ceremony in the wee hours of Saturday when a police mobile started chasing them. They said when they reached home, ASI Anjum Mushtaq and some constables broke into their house and started threatening the family.
The two complainants said that they were taken to the police station where they were tortured the whole night and released in the morning. A case was registered against constables Javed Iqbal, Abdul Qudoos, Asad Nadeem and Ahmad.
