6 arrested in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Territory Police in its drive against anti–social elements arrested six outlaws and recovered drugs and liquor from them, police said. SSP Islamabad Captain (r) Ahmad Latif issued special directives to all SDPOs and SHOs to initiate stringent action against the criminals involved in street crimes and anti–social activities. Glora Police Station ASI Muhammad Mursaleen arrested Mazhar Anwar and Muhammad Arif involved in a fraud case regarding sale of fake gold to Ali Raza, a resident of Rawalpindi.
Shahzad Town Police Station SI Muhammad Raiz arrested Rashid Mehmood and recovered 500-gram charas from him.
Inspector Fida Hussain Satti (SHO Tarnol) and Sub-Inspector Muhammad Nawaz arrested Zahid Khan and recovered 1-kg hashish from him. ASI Sher Ahmad arrested Laeeq-ur-Rehman for his alleged involvement in a case in Tarnol.
Sabzi Mandi Polie Station SI Janat Ali arrested Muhammad Waseem and recovered 2 bottles of liquor from him.
