Two brothers get life-term in drug case
Rawalpindi: Anti-Narcotics Special Judge Muhammad Arshad Tabassum here on Wednesday awarded life-term and imposed fines of Rs 500,000 each on two drug-pushers.
The News reported that the court awarded life-imprisonment to two brothers — Janas Khan and Ayub Khan.
The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) had registered a case under Section 9-C against Janas Khan and Ayub Khan on November 4, 2002.
Police had arrested them when they were bringing drugs in a ‘fake ambulance’ bearing registration number RIN 2550. Police had recovered 800 kilograms of charas from their possession. They had packed drugs in medicines.
