An improvised explosive device (IED) went off in Adezai village on the outskirts of Peshawar on Tuesday.

Police said a powerful remote-controlled blast occurred when the vehicle of the members of a ‘Peace Committee’ was passing through the area.
The members of the committee remained unhurt.
Police rushed to the spot and cordoned off the entire area.
