TTP kill 4 on spying charges
MIRANSHAH: The Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) killed four people Sunday charging them spying for the United States in North Waziristan.
The News reported Monday that bullets-riddled bodies of the four ‘US spies’ were found dumped near Isori Adda on the Mir Ali Thall Road.
Three out of the four assassinated persons were identified as Sajjad, Zamindar, Hussain all hailing from Mir Ali sub-division; while the fourth one couldn’t be recognised till filing of this report.
A letter was also found near the bodies that read, “Those spying for the US will meet the same fate.”
However, no group or individual has claimed responsibility for the killings.
The Taliban militants are behind the killings as they believe spies paid by the US inform the American military authorities in Afghanistan about the militants’ hideouts that are subsequently attacked with missiles fired by US drones.
