2 more murdered in Karachi target killing
KARACHI: Target killers once again went on a killing spree Wednesday murdering two activists of a Sindh-based political party in Khamosh Colony area, The News reported.
The deceased have been identified as Mohammad Siddiq Bhombro and Mohammed Umer Bhombro, who were related to Pakistan Peoples Party-Shaheed Bhutto (PPP-SB).
Gulbahar Station House Officer (SHO) Bilal Raza told The News that the deceased were sitting outside their house in Khamosh Colony, when three veiled men, including two men riding on motorcycles, opened indiscriminate fire on the two. Both men expired on the spot while the assailants managed to flee.
SHO Raza said that initial investigation has revealed that the deceased, who ancestral homes are in Thatta, were embroiled in a land since the past many months.
A case has been registered, with the deceased’s family nominating three persons, including Asghar Bikik, Omer and Bilal, for murdering the two men. Further probe is underway.
