Capital Police nab 19 outlaws
ISLAMABAD: In the latest crackdown in the Capital, Islamabad Police apprehended 19 outlaws including five proclaimed offenders, a police spokesman told The News.
According to report, the Capital Police teams succeeded to arrest five proclaimed offenders including Sher Asif, Gustasab, Irfan, Banaras and Saddam Hussain during the course of the operation. The cases have been registered against them under 324/324/148/149 PPC.
Shehzad Town Police arrested an absconder, Muhammad Shafi, while Tarnol Police also arrested seven suspects.
Shehzad Town Police also arrested a drug peddler, Zulfiqar, in possession of 1.650 kilograms hashish and Aabpara Police arrested a bootlegger, Adil, in possession of 22 bottles of liquor.
Margallah Police arrested three persons Tariq Maseeh, Sarfaraz and Waison Bhatti in possession of six wine bottles while Golra police arrested an accused Juma Khan in possession of 22 bore pistol and two rounds.
