Govt sacks NAB Prosecutor General
ISLAMABAD: Government, in adherence to Supreme Court’s December 17, 2009 order, axed Prosecutor General of National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Danishwar Malik and Staff Officer of Interior Minister, Sajjad Haider Wednesday.
The Pakistan Observer reported that Danishwar Malik was the person who was caught red-handed by the media when he was trying to shift the NAB record in Geneva.
On the other hand, Sajjad Haider is a close aide of Interior Minister, Rehman Malik and a beneficiary of the notorious National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO). Moreover, Haider is a co-accused in the Yellow Cab scam.[google-map]
