Verdict in political activists’ cases on 7th
KARACHI: A court Wednesday put off its verdict in cases against a Karachi-based political party’s top men till April 7, 2010.
According to Dawn News, Mohajir Qaumi Movement leaders, Afaq Ahmed and Aamir Khan, were presented before the court where the judgement was put off.
After the hearing, Afaq Ahmed, in a bid to calm down the political heat in the city, called for an end to target killing in the city and said that such brand of politics should be abandoned once and for all.
Denying any contacts with either government of intelligence agencies, Aamir Khan offered reconciliation with rivals Muttahida Qaumi Movement and Jamaat-e-Islami. However, he refused any reconciliation with Afaq Ahmed.
