Islamabad: Cops nab 24 adulterers
ISLAMABAD: Police raided a house Tuesday in Soan Garden area and apprehended 17 women and 7 men for their alleged involvement in immoral activities, The News reported.
A police official told the daily that DSP Gulfam Nasir set up a team consisting of Koral Police Station SHO Younis Gujjar, Sub-Inspector Muneer, Assistant Sub-Inspector Ashfaq Ahmed and policewomen.
The arrested women were identified as Nisha, Saima, Nadia, Sana, Mehwish, Sania, Sajida, Aarzoo, Sobia, Afshan, Saima, Sehr, Muskaan, Sana, Sobia, Nosheen and Maria while nabbed men were identified as Zahid Shah, Khaleel Ahmed, Zahoor Ahmed, Ahmed Ali, Ramazan, Shoaib and Faisal.
A case has been registered against the apprehended under sections 371-A, 371-B and 496-B.
