Lahore: Unidentified bikers shoot dead a cop

LAHORE: Two unidentified bike riders ambushed a couple of policemen Tuesday killing one of them.

According to The News, a police constable, identified as Ahsan, was killed while his colleague, Nadim, sustained multiple bullet injuries in the Hanjerwal Police Station area. The officials were posted at Ittefaq Town Police Chowki where the incident took place. The bike riders fled the scene.

The injured officials were rushed to Jinnah Hospital where Ahsan succumbed to his injuries.

The condition of Nadim was stated to be critical. Police registered a case against the unidentified bike riders and shifted the body to morgue for autopsy.
