Karachi: 23 dead as furiousness revisits the city
KARACHI: As reported by The News, at least 23 people, including a 4 year old boy along with his father, were shot down on Wednesday in a fresh flap of ethnic and political killings throughout Karachi. The targeted killings staged a counter just a day after the coalition parties restated their pledge to work together for peace and prosperity of Sindh.
According to the details by The News, Wednesday’s fatalities include activists of the Awami National Party (ANP), the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), the Muhajir Qaumi Movement-Pakistan and the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI). The targeted persons were identified as Nabi Khan, Mohammad Hanif, Hafeez Ahmed Shakir, Abdul Hakim, Wali Mohammed (40), Bakht Zada (35), Abdul Rehman, Anjum Khan ( 30), Ameen Khan, Niaz Mohammed, and Shahid Khan, Moosa Khan, Ajab Khan, Azizullah Khan, Mohammed Nabi Khan, Hamza(5), Syed Haider Ali (35), Hamza, Nadeem, Fazal Mohammed (50), Rana Mohammed Younus (60), Mohammad Asad, Asad, and Syed Asghar Ali. Jehangir Khan, Asif, and Kashif were injured.
