Islamabad: Fake documents for US visa lead to 2 arrests
ISLAMABAD: On a request of the US Consulate in Pakistan, the Immigration Wing of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested a woman of Pakistan origin with US citizenship and a man for presenting fake documents to the US immigration authority, the Express Tribune reported Monday. As per details, the woman had filed a visa application for a teenager who she claimed to be her adopted son. However, the adoption documents were found fake. During the investigation, the woman admitted that she and the other man had been working for the past few years to send people to the United States through illegal means.
