Karachi: Charge-sheet lodged in double murder case
KARACHI: A judicial magistrate (south) accepted on Monday a charge-sheet in a double murder case and sent it to sessions courts for trial. According to the prosecution, the accused allegedly attacked (on April 10) the car of the relatives of a businessman in Block 8 of Clifton and killed two people. The court also ordered issuance of non-bailable warrants for the arrest of the absconding suspect, as reported by the Dawn News on Tuesday.
The police arrested Waheed Rajpur, Chakar Khan, Burhan Chandio and Manoj. Nadir Khan, Peer Shahani and Saifullah were shown as absconding accused in the case.
A case (FIR 120/2010) was filed under Sections 302 (premeditated murder), 324 (attempted murder) and 34 (common intention) of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) against the suspects at the Clifton police station.
