Karachi: Ancholi turns violent, Rangers called
KARACHI: Ancholi area of the country’s biggest metropolis turned violent late Wednesday when people protesting target killing of Shahzad Raza in Bahadurabad resorted to set public property on fire, leaving law enforcement agencies with no option to go for shelling and firing, the Daily Jang reported Thursday. The protests started after the funeral of Raza at an Imambargah near his Ancholi residence in Block 20 of Federal B Area. After things went from bad to worse, a heavy contingent of Rangers were called to defuse the situation.
