Karachi: 2 officers remanded in robbery case
KARACHI: According to The News, two policemen, Abdul Majeed of Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) and Nadeem of the Police Training Centre Saeedabad, were remanded to police custody till June 17 for their alleged involvement in street crimes by Judicial Magistrate (Central) Nasrullah Korai.
They were caught by the Azizabad police on Sunday. An FIR (343/2010) under Section 13 ñD of Arms Ordinance was filed against Abdul Majeed, while FIR No. 342/2010 was lodged under sections 392 (punishment for robbery) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) against the two suspects.
