CHAKWAL: According to the Dawn News, Fedral Investigation Agency’s (FIA) inspector of passport cell Chaudhry Kausar Abbas with his team on Wednesday, forayed into the office of the fake travel agency, Al Najam Travel Agency, situated at City Trade Centre, seized 15 passports, and nabbed the owner, identified as Naveed-Ul-Hasan, of the agency, on the charge of fleecing the people.
UMERKOT: According to the Dawn News, Qambar-Shahdadkot police arrested on Thursday, two government employees, Dildar Khoso (Pakistan Agriculture Research Council) and Abdul Hakeem Arisar (health department) from Karoonjhar guest-house, on charges of kidnapping two girls Benazir and Ameena Magsi from Chakar Sultan village.
RAWALPINDI: According to the Dawn News, an additional district and sessions judge Sajjad Hussain Sindhar issued non-bailable arrest warrants, on Wednesday, for the superintendent of police (SP) headquarters, Rana Shahid, for not responding to a show-cause notice concerning production of under-trial prisoners, arrested in four murder cases, in court.
LAHORE: As reported by The News, District and Sessions Court issued arrest warrants for Kot Lakhput jail superintendent on Thursday, for not complying with the court order and directed him to appear before the court by August 31.

LAHORE: As reported by The News on Friday, the National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP), N-5 Central, Patrolling officers Shahid Bashir and Sajid Hussain, laid claim to have foiled an attempt of kidnapping a girl, named Shazia (13) a resident of Lodhran, and arrested two abductors identified as Zaib and Qaiser, residents of Khanewal, from a bus (LRJ-2033) near Thoker Niaz Baig, Lahore.

PESHAWAR: According to the Dawn News, the two-member bench comprising Justice Pir Liaqat Ali and Justice Mazhar Alam Miankhel of the Peshawar High Court (PHC) set aside, on Thursday, conviction of four men, named Anwerzaib Khan, Luqman, Merajuddin and Mamraiz, who were sentenced to life imprisonment by the additional district and sessions judge on Aug 7, 2009, in case of selling drugs, liquor and counterfeit currency.
LAHORE: As reported by the Dawn News, the Lahore High Court (LHC) sought the details of educational certificates, on Thursday, of the Pakistan Industrial Technical Assistance Centre’s (PITAC) general manager, Tariq Ahmad, that he presented to the authorities at the time of appointment. Justice Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry has already restrained Ahmad from working as PITAC general manager till a final decision on the petition.
KARACHI: According to the Dawn News, acting on a tip-off, police stamped out on Wednesday, two suspected robbers in an encounter in Sector L-1 of Surjani Town, and also recovered two TT pistols, four cellphones, cash and two motorbikes, SHO Inspector Altaf Hussain Dharejo, Surjani Town said.
