Islamabad: 3 cops booked for bribery

ISLAMABAD: On complaint by a citizen, Rana Mohammad Fiaz, the Assistant Superintendent of Police, Haroon Joya, arrested three policemen and sent them on physical remand after found them guilty of taking Rs20,000 bribe, the Dawn News reported Wednesday. A case was registered against the corrupt police officials under 4/5/6 Anti-Corruption and Section 161 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
