Rawalpindi: 2 handed down death sentence
RAWALPINDI: As reported by the Dawn News, two men, in separate murder cases, were sentenced to death on Tuesday by Local courts. As per details, Raja Pervaiz Akhtar, Additional District and Sessions Judge (AD&SJ) handed down capital punishment and also imposed Rs200,000 fine to Asad Mehmood for murdering his uncle, Yasir Abbasi, on a business dispute. However, other three, Ikraz, Ismail and Ikram, were discharged for lack of prove. All four men were booked by Sadiqabad police in 2009.
Separately, Additional District and Sessions Judge (AD&SJ) Syed Ali Imran sentenced Mohammad Altaf to death for killing Mohammad Aksar (his brother-in-law) over some domestic issue. Saddar Bairooni police held him on December 29, 2006.
