Mohmand: 104 killed, 120 hurt in twin suicide blast
GHALANAI: As reported by the Dawn News, At least 104 people were killed, 120 bruised and Over 70 shops, houses, vehicles, offices and a police lock-up were demolished or damaged, when two explosions which occurred at about 9.30am ripped through a crowded Ekkaghund bazaar in Mohmand Agency on Friday. The blasts were caused by suicide attacks near his office where a jirga of Utmankhel tribe was under way to outline a plan to restore peace in the area, said Assistant Political Agent Rasool Khan. Taliban took responsibility for the attack. Ikramullah Mohmand, spokesman Local Taliban, told journalists by phone that the main target was the jirga which had been convoked to discuss a plan against Taliban.
