Lahore: CDG hospitals playing with patients lives
LAHORE: According to The Nation, Friday, In spite of allotment of vast funds for City District Government Lahore’s (CDGL) hospitals from the provincial government, uncurbed supply of substandard medicines as well as medical instruments have disclosed performance of Health Department and hospital administrations. A number of complaints, which are still pending, have been received by the Health Department.
The sources cited a case of gynaecology, which got perplexed during operation when stitching instruments ruptured over and over again, in a CDG Hospital located in Wasanpura Scheme No 2. However, consultant doctor asked the relatives of the patients to arrange such instruments in urgency as patient is still in the process of operation.
