Hyderabad: Bailed ex-DCO booked in another case
HYDERABAD: According to the Dawn News, after Dr. Farooq Leghari (Former DCO Tando Mohammad Khan), was granted bail on Thursday in the first case by Special Judge Anti-Corruption, the younger brother of Dr.Javed Leghari chairman Higher Education Commission (HEC), has been held in another corruption case. The new case (no 5/10) is lodged, on complaint of EDO finance, for alleged financial embezzlement while the accused was serving as DCO.
Another charge against him is purchase of Hepatitis-C vaccine in which he bought a vaccine for Rs500 against actual cost of Rs196. Expenditure of Rs3 million on the DCO house without seeking permission of finance department is the third charge against him.
