Lahore: Twin blasts at internet cafes injure 6
LAHORE: As reported by the Dawn News, six people, Hassan Arif (22), Kashif Arif, Awais, Naveed Khan (35), Haider Ali (24), and Attique Khan (40), were wounded, on Saturday, when two low-intensity devices went off in internet clubs, after a text message which was sent by a group called Tehrik Difa-i-Nazaria Pakistan to some media organisations, warning of three blasts, witnesses and police said.
The first explosion (of around 400kg explosive) occurred at Crown internet cafe on Habibullah Road (Garhi Shahu) around 16:10. The second blast occurred at an internet club possessed by Naveed Khan at Begumkot. In the meantime, the Shahdara police filed two separate cases under section 324 of PPC, 7-ATA and 3/4 Explosives Act.
