Islamabad: First official list of fake degree holders handed over to EC
ISLAMABAD: According to the Dawn News, the first official list, containing the names of 47 lawmakers holding fake or Invalid degrees, was handed over to the Election Commission by the Higher Education Commission on Thursday. Thirty degrees have been declared bogus and 17 invalid.
The six senators on the list are: Nawabzada Muhammad Akbar Magsi, Mir Israrullah Zahri, Gul Muhammad Lot, Wali Muhammad Badini, Mir Muhabbat Khan Marri, Rehana Yahya Baloch. The eleven members of the National Assembly are: Syed Muhammad Salman Mohsin, Mazhar Hayat, Syed Akhnuzada Chitan, Hayat Ullah Khan Tareen, Mir Humayun Aziz Kurd, Syed Javed Hussain Shah, Nasir Ali Shah, Ghulam Dastgir Rajar, Mir Ahmadan Khan, Haji Rozi Uddin and Molvi Agha Muhammad. The 15 members of the Punjab Assembly are: Chaudhry Shafiq, Ahmad Gujjar, Saima Aziz, Muhammad Safdar Gill, Haji Zulfiqar Ali, Sardar Meer Badshah Khan Qaisrani, Afshaan Farooq, Farah Deeba, Shamaila Rana, Waseem Afzal Gondal, Safina Saima Khar and Rana Ijaz Ahmad Noon, Samina Khawar Hayat, Seemal Kamran and Syeda Majida Zaidi. Nawabzada Mir Nadir Magsi is the only member of the Sindh Assembly to have possessed an invalid degree. The seven members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on the list are: Haji Sher Azam Khan Wazir, Syed Aqil Shah, Maulvi Obaidullah, Khalifa Abdul Qayyum Khan, Sardar Ali, Kishor Kumar and Gulistan Khan. The seven members of Balochistan Assembly include Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind, Muhammad Khan Toor, Shama Parveen Magsi and Rubina Irfan Zehri, now known as Rubina Irfan, Haji Ali Madad Jattak, Maulvi Abdul Samad Akhunzada and Nawabzada Tariq Magsi.
