3 killed in weekend Orangi clashes
KARACHI: At least three persons were killed in a renewed spree of violence in Orangi and its neighbouring towns of Karachi on Saturday, the Dawn News reported Sunday. Three people travelling in a taxi were attacked early in the morning near Qasba Piri close to Banaras traffic intersection that left two of them, including the driver, dead. In another attack on a public bus in the same area, a passenger, Shan-e-Zar, was critically injured. In yet another incident, a young motorbike rider, Asif Iqbal, was shot dead by unknown armed persons near Valika Stop.
