KALAYA: As reported by the Dawn News on Tuesday, the house of a pro-government tribal elder, Hawaldar Khan, was blown up by unidentified persons in Othmankhel area of lower Orakzai on Monday morning. Locals said that unidentified persons planted explosive device in the vacated house of Malak Hawaldar Khan in the night between Sunday and Monday. The device went off in the morning and destroyed the house completely, they added. Security forces had declared Othmankhel and Bazotkhel areas cleared of militants and almost all the internally displaced persons returned to there till Sept 6. It was the first incident of its kind after returning of local tribesmen to their hometowns.
