Karachi: Abducted lawyer recovered
KARACHI: As reported by The News on Wednesday, the Citizen-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) and Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) arrested four suspects including a woman involved in kidnapping of a Sindh High Court (SHC) advocate. The kidnappers demanded Rs0.5 million as ransom for his release. As per details, Muhammad Aslam Advocate was kidnapped from outside the Sindh High Court. The AVCC and CPLC on the complaint of his family members raided a flat in Lyari in the Baghdadi Police limits and recovered Aslam. On his revelations, the team raided a flat situated at Abul Hassan Ispahani Road and arrested four accused identified as Shamsuddin, Khalid Hussan Samoo and Shaheena. All the accused are advocates in the SHC.
